Join the Gwinnett Giving Girls!

As we announced in February, this year a group of generous women gathered and formed a giving circle known as the Gwinnett Giving Girls. Led by Jerri Hewett Miller, these women are already making an impact on our community and have raised grant money for several worthy nonprofits!

If you haven’t heard of the term, a giving circle is when “individuals come together and pool their dollars, decide together where to give the money (and other resources such as volunteer time), and learn together about their community and philanthropy”, according to the Forum of Regional Associations of Grantmakers.

Did you know, according to the Women’s Philanthropy Institute, women are more likely to engage in collaborative giving via a giving circle? It’s a great way to join together and make a greater community impact.
