Paying it Forward

We are thrilled to have Green Financial Resources as our Good2Give Celebration’s presenting sponsor for the second year in a row! Roger S. Green, president and CEO of Green Financial Resources, has always been heavily involved in the community and supporting various nonprofits. Giving back is part of who he is and has been woven into the firm’s DNA.

“Sacrifice is giving something of value for something of even greater value,” Roger said. “We’ve all been blessed by Gwinnett County, this country, and by God. We need to respond to that and be grateful to that and pass it on, pay it forward, and inspire others to do the same.”

For more than 30 years, Green Financial Resources has helped individuals and small businesses with their investment decisions. Roger enjoys helping his clients better understand the financial marketplace in order to become more educated consumers. Where many financial advisers have minimum investment levels, Roger believes everyone should be planning for their future, and assists all who are motivated to seek his help, regardless of the size of their assets.

Serving  people and businesses is a family affair for Green Financial Resources. Roger’s wife, Laura, has served as chief operating officer for more than 18 years and two of their six children also work at the firm.

When it comes to the Community Foundation, being part of the Good2Give Celebration is another way for Roger and his team to help support the community.

“I love how the Community Foundation has a passion for putting people who care with causes that matter,” Roger said. “I also appreciate how its President and CEO, Randy Redner, and the resources that they have help charities to do better – build better boards, find funding, and most of all, connect with those people that care and want to donate. That’s why I wanted to help [by being the presenting sponsor].”
