The Duluth Donut Dash helps families across Georgia find stability and hope through Wellroot Family Services, the race’s longtime beneficiary. Since 2015, the Donut Dash has raised nearly $200,000 to help more children and families build safe, nurturing homes. Wellroot works to keep families together whenever possible, provide short-term foster care when needed, and walk alongside youth transitioning out of foster care toward independence. Last year in Gwinnett County, Wellroot helped more than 550 children and caregivers strengthen their families through parenting education, maternal and infant support, foster care, and behavioral health programs.
