Ten honorees will be chosen based on how he/she went above and beyond to educate, inspire and encourage students during the 2017-18 academic school year. Grade levels K-12 are eligible. Please complete the nomination form by June 17, 2018. Read more
Book Mobiles have hit the streets! AND, along with books, the Atlanta Community Food Bank is providing weekly snacks for all the stops, plus piloting full meals at several sites with the goal of expanding to as many sites as possible next year.
Gwinnett County Public Schools’ two mobile libraries —the “Explore” Book Mobile and the “Pow” Book Mobile — are hitting the streets to provide books for children beginning Monday.
During the course of the summer, the mobile libraries are scheduled for a 35-stop route in the Meadowcreek and Norcross clusters each week to provide to provide students who may not have easy access to the public library the opportunity to check out books. Read more
