It’s a subject we tend to think doesn’t affect us, when in reality it’s all around us. Thankfully, nonprofits like the Gwinnett Coalition and Family Promise of Gwinnett are helping tackle the issue of homelessness. Come to the Lawrenceville Square tomorrow, April 21st from 9 am-noon for a living exhibit showcasing what homelessness in Gwinnett really looks like. See what it would be like to live in your car or stay in an extended stay hotel/motel. You can check it out while you’re waiting for your favorite team to race in the 9th annaul bed race! We hosted our second annual Family Philanthropy seminar yesterday with Jillian Wagenheim of Sertus Consulting. The crowd learned how to start family conversations about giving as well as other helpful tips. Thank you to Jillian and everyone who attended!
