Help Make Masks for Our Front-Line Workers

Masks for our health care professionals, first responders, and non-profit workers are in peak demand. To combat this issue, we are calling all sewers to help make reusable, cloth masks for our heroes on the front lines helping care for our community through COVID-19.

You are welcome to use any pattern you choose. We have use for all styles. Here are some we suggest, if you don’t have one already:

Sewers are asked to use your own fabric and sewing supplies. Breathable cotton/blend fabrics are preferred. Any and all fabric designs are accepted.

Masks can be dropped off Monday-Friday – 8 am to 5 pm at: View Point Health – 175 Gwinnett Drive, Lawrenceville 30046

Please pull up on the bank side of the building by the big blue mailbox. Go inside the automatic sliding glass door. Beside the elevator bank you will find a bin labeled “Medical Mask Drop Off.” Simply place your masks in that bin.

We’ll share masks with healthcare workers, first responders, nonprofit staff and volunteers serving those in crisis, vulnerable populations, and others in critical need.

Thank you for helping with this important effort!

(NOTE: Please do not submit masks if you or anyone in your household have exhibited any virus symptoms, been exposed to the virus, or is recovering from COVID-19.)
