Share a snapshot of who you are.

I’m originally from Chicago and now proudly call Georgia home. My family keeps me grounded and reminds me daily of the power of community, faith and connection.

Professionally, I’ve spent more than 20 years helping organizations grow through workforce strategy and leadership development initiatives across the U.S. and globally. In my last role at Takeda, I supported 25 global manufacturing sites and over 17,000 employees, helping ensure that inclusion isn’t just a goal — it’s how we work and lead every day.

Whether in corporate spaces or community programs, my purpose has always been clear: to create environments where people feel seen, valued and empowered to succeed.

How did you hear about the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia?

I first learned about the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia from DePriest Waddy. CFNEG’s mission — connecting people who care with causes that matter — immediately resonated with me. It perfectly aligns with my belief that true impact happens when people and purpose meet.

What do you want people to know about the Community Foundation for Northeast Georgia?

CFNEG is more than a foundation; it’s a catalyst for collaboration. Whether you’re a donor, corporation or nonprofit, CFNEG helps you channel your passion into purposeful action.

What I admire most is how CFNEG invests in relationships. The team doesn’t just fund projects; they build bridges, connecting individuals and organizations to create sustainable change across the region. Every act of generosity, big or small, becomes a part of something greater.

What are you excited to accomplish in this role?

I’m excited to expand CFNEG’s reach and strengthen its network of donors, nonprofits and business leaders who share a commitment to equity, education and community growth.

My goal is to help amplify the stories of impact — the moments when a family’s, student’s or small nonprofit’s dream becomes reality because of someone’s generosity. I also look forward to creating more spaces where corporate and community leaders can collaborate, share insights and align their giving strategies for measurable, long-term outcomes.

Why is philanthropy important to you?

Philanthropy is one of the most powerful ways we can transform lives. It’s not just about giving; it’s also about believing in the potential of others.

Growing up, I witnessed how mentorship and access to education can open doors that once seemed closed. Philanthropy gives us the chance to pay that forward and invest in people and communities in ways that ripple for generations.

For me, giving is personal. It’s how I honor those who helped me and how I ensure others have the same opportunities to thrive.

What causes are you passionate about?

I’m deeply passionate about education, families and children and our military. I believe that when people are equipped with the right tools, mentorship and access, they can change not only their own lives but their communities as well.

I also care deeply about supporting women in leadership,  ensuring everyone’s voices are not just included but empowered to shape the future.

What do you enjoy doing outside the office?

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, mentoring young professionals and supporting community programs that uplift others. I enjoy traveling and exploring new cultures, experiences that continually remind me of the importance of empathy and human connection.

I also find joy in volunteering with local organizations and serving on boards that help advance education and opportunity.

What’s one thing people would be surprised to know about you?

I’m passionate about storytelling, helping individuals and organizations find their “why” and share it in ways that inspire others to get involved
